It’s been awhile since I’ve done a video post! But this song was too good–and too beautiful–NOT to share with you. It needs no further introduction. Enjoy 🙂

Josh Groban does a beautiful version of this song on his self-titled album. I’ve always loved the song, but for whatever reason did not realize it was about Vincent Van Gogh. Thanks for sharing!

You sing very well, Kimberly. Really nice way of sharing this song on your blog. (I’m hoping to become as technically competent in the New Year.)

I am surprised that you only recently heard this song. Both this one and American Pie were popular when I was a teen. Our Teen likes this song very much and already knows the lyrics refer to the late artist.

I like how you use this song to show that music therapy is for persons with mental illness, too.

Thank you, Jennifer! ~Kimberly

He did! Josh Groban and Don McLean himself have the two most well-known recordings. Different interpretations, too, which is always fun! ~Kimberly
