The holiday season is about to unofficially commence as millions of children dress up as their favorite princess, super-hero, cartoon character, or animal. Once appropriately attired, they will travel door-to-door—or in my case in urban Miami, store-to-store at the outdoor mall—collecting mouthfuls of candy to stuff into plastic orange pumpkins.
